Can I Test the Throughline App?

There are two ways to get the full version of the Throughline App for free: as a customer of the Curious Refuge AI Animation 2.0 course, or of the Curious Refuge All-Access Membership. Otherwise, the app is a one-time purchase from shop.getthroughline.com: no subscription, you buy it once and it’s yours.

Claiming it as a Curious Refuge customer

Your course portal has a 100% discount code for the Throughline App. Enter it at checkout on shop.getthroughline.com and you get the same download and License Key as anyone who paid.

A closer look before you buy

These docs walk through every Workspace and feature in detail, with screenshots of the actual app. Good places to start are the Quick Start, the Draft Workspace and Formatting & Elements. For a feature-by-feature comparison with Final Draft, Arc Studio and Scrivener, see the comparison page.

Feature wishes

Once you own the Throughline App, you’re welcome in our Discord (see Community & Feedback). That’s where to suggest what’s missing for your kind of project, and we build plenty of those wishes into the app.
